Doe Deere: The Queen of the Unicorns

A Doe, a Deere, a female deer – wait a minute – no, this animal isn’t at all typical of Lime Crime’s creator Doe Deere. In fact, she is colloquially known as the “Queen of Unicorns,” and rightly so. With her ever-changing hair color – from a lush light purplish-blue to a vibrant pink ombre, in some particular cases –Doe Deere likes to experiment…especially with hues. This explains quite a bit about her fabulous and well-known makeup brand, Lime Crime, which provides nearly every shade imaginable for nearly every cosmetic item you will ever need. Oh, and don’t forget about the shimmering sparkles added as well.

Doe Deere was born and raised in Russia, believe it or not! Once she turned seventeen, she moved to the United States. At the time, she resided in New York City. Currently, Doe Deere, “Queen of the Unicorns” lives in Los Angeles. Talk about an exciting life!

Her ambitious nature drove her to New York City. Shockingly, her first motivation was to become a musician, which she was fortunate enough to accomplish. I suppose we can all agree that she’s definitely a rock star when it comes to her cosmetics. With the vibrant colors and diamond lipsticks, she has definitely procured a glam rock cosmetic look for her customers.

It’s a very good thing that Doe Deere pursued a life as a musician in New York City. Being a musician helped her to learn things such as career choices and the ins and outs of marketing. However, Doe has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. When she lived in Russia, she had her first business at thirteen selling temporary tattoos, where she popularized them by wearing them on herself and then selling them to her classmates. At the time, those temporary tattoos were quite a novelty. As a matter of fact, quite a few of Doe Deere’s items can be considered a novelty, such as her eye-catching cosmetics.

It seems as though Doe Deere was destined for success through her abundant creativity. Her makeup brand, Lime Crime, has been proven to be a well-loved cosmetic brand with tons of fellow “unicorns” who adore her work.
